Naada Solo Strings combines eight physically modeled bowed string instruments as native VST3 plugins for Windows, spanning Western orchestral and Asian classical traditions. The collection includes Violin, Viola, Cello, and Double Bass from the Western string family alongside Erhu, Gaohu, Sarangi, and Zhonghu from Chinese and Indian bowed string traditions. Each instrument is powered by AccelMatrix Naada physical modeling and supports polyphonic performance with continuous expressive control.

Runs as a VST3 plugin inside any compatible Windows DAW including Reaper, Cubase, FL Studio, and Ableton Live. No additional host software required.

Naada Solo Strings brings together eight bowed string instruments from three distinct musical traditions into a single bundle for Windows DAWs. The Western string family is represented by Violin, Viola, Cello, and Double Bass. From the Chinese huqin family come the Erhu, with its plaintive, vocal tone, and the Gaohu, its brighter Cantonese counterpart, alongside the Zhonghu, which fills the tenor/viola role in Chinese orchestral writing. The Indian Sarangi rounds out the collection with its deeply resonant, voice-like character and shimmering sympathetic string response. Each instrument is generated by the AccelMatrix Naada physical modeling engine as a continuous acoustic event. All eight are fully polyphonic, supporting chordal writing, layered textures, and multi-voice string arrangements.

Bow dynamics, string resonance, sympathetic string interaction, and timbral coloration evolve in real time based on performance input. The result is phrasing and articulation that respond with the directness of live string playing rather than the constraints of sample-based playback. Expressive multidimensional controls including Expression, Overblow, Growl, Flutter, and Harmonics are accessible through MIDI CC mapping, DAW automation lanes, or MPE-capable controllers.
